Unlike traditional methods, the iCare Tonometer requires no eye drops and no air puff. Instead, it uses a unique, patented rebound technology in which a small, lightweight probe makes a momentary, gentle contact with the cornea. The measurement is quick, painless, and often barely noticeable to the patient.
